Burness Lake has some excellent non-stop action for walleye, averging  2-3lbs. , along with, great northern pike opportunities. Head up the creek and the north end for a day trip world-renown Dusey River to catch trophy brook trout. Burness Lake has some excellent moose hunting opportunities where large moose bulls have been taken in recent years.

Burness Lake outpost camp has 8 bunks and is fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans, propane fridge, generator, stove, barbeque, fish fryer, wood stove, and beautiful views from the front of the deck and a sandy beach waterfront. We usually run 14ft Nadens and 2stroke 9.9 Mercury at the location.
