Andomoozwe Outfitters offers both Canada spring and fall bear hunting. Semi-guided bear hunts are offered from our main lodge near Nakina, Ontario.


Andomoozwe Outfitters spring bear hunts normally run from mid-May to mid-June and fall bear hunts run from mid-August to mid-September

Our bear management area consists of over 800 square km of bear hunting territory. With this much bear hunting territory, it allows us to set up our bear baits 3 to 4 km apart giving us a very high success rate at every bear hunting stand and also allowing us to have more than one stand per bear hunter. If the bait is slow we can move that bear hunter to another untouched bear hunting stand, this will maximize the hunter's opportunity at a successful bear hunt.


Our bear hunting stands are situated along logging roads, berry patches, off small lakes and streams, and far away from the main roads.

Bear Hunting Stands
All bear hunting stands are pre-baited 3-4 weeks before bear hunters' arrival. Note: We rotate hunting stands so bear hunters are never hunting on over-pressured bait.

Added Fishing Bonus
With the main lodge being on O'Sullivan Lake, Andomoozwe Outfitters has the luxury of offering bear hunters the opportunity to fish not only in O'Sullivan Lake but other lakes within the area mid-day if the hunter chooses. This opportunity also can be taken advantage of after a successful bear hunt while others are still on their bear hunting stands.
