Our Ogoki river outpost is located on the world-famous Ogoki River 4 miles west leading into Ogoki Lake, which can be accessed in a 20-minute boat ride. The Ogoki River is a fish hatchery for walleye in the spring and early summer where lots of walleye can be caught daily averaging 2-3lbs and many 5-10lbs. are taken as well. If you enjoy your northern pike fishing, many trophies are produced here as well, there being a great food supply of fingerlings. Guest are said to have caught brook trout in the numerous rapids the Ogoki river has. The Ogoki River has some of the best moose hunting north of Nakina because of the food along the Ogoki River banks and weedy bays that moose love to be in.
The Ogoki outpost is Fully equipped with 6 bunk beds, a generator, propane cook stove, fridge, wood stove, barbeque grill, and fish fryer. We usually have 14ft Naden's and 9.9 Yamaha 2 strokes at this camp for ease of running rapids.
